Default Sabway Query

So im intending to try the famous "sabway" build to help me do vanquishing in prophecies and eotn, however i am a little inexperienced as i havent been on the game too long.

my issue is that my character is a necromancer primary, and i have basically played through pve as an SS/MoP/barbs/enfeebling necro with great success, pretty similiar to the curses necro in sabway, however my question is that when i can use 3 hero's, should i use 3 nec hero's for the sabway build and throw my curses around as an even bigger bonus, or should i be the curses necro, have 2 hero's as necro rit healer and mm, and choose a 3rd hero as something else such as a paragon for party wide support?

If you want to play with Sabway, I would do this if I were you. That's what I've done on my Necromancer when I play with Sabway, and then you can slot whatever hero you want where the player character would normally be.

Play the curse necro, and bring another support char, RoJ, Para, tease mes, whatever.

You can also run AP and spam MoP around instead of SS if you wish

sorry, "run AP"? what does that mean?
that tease looks like a good idea, i experimented with gwen a little giving her CoF/power leak/etc to spell interrupt for fun and it worked okay, and from a little experimentation in hardmode, it seems the monks healing really is great so maybe an anti caster might be useful

at the moment my necro's skill bar is:
1) cry of frustration
2) enfeebling blood
3) insidious parasite
4) mark of pain
5) ss
6) barbs
7) empathy
8) backfire

i like to use ss/mop on a target in a mass for huge aoe spike damage since all the henchies/hero's follow my target, and when there's those pesky individual melee's whacking on my casters i tend to enfeeble/IP/empathy and forget about them since they just whack themself to death

AP is Assassin's Promise.

You could even use a second MM bomber and mess around with utility skills on that hero.

You could give that hero the standard Animate Bone Minions and Death Nova and switch it to:

-N/P for "Incoming!" and/or "Fall Back!" for places with a lot of running,
-N/Mo for Divert Hexes and additional prots for more survivability,
-N/Mo for Dwayna's Sorrow (heroes use this well),
-N/E for Wards,
-N/Rt for Splinter and Flesh of my Flesh.

You could even spec your hero in to Blood and bring Spoil Victor for HM play.

Personally, I use Jagged Bones or Discord as minion bomber elites and use weaker utility skills, such as Remove Hex and/or Cure Hex instead of Divert Hexes. Sometimes the extra damage is better than more heals and prots because foes die before they can stack up signifigant damage.

Normal tease support bar (That I use)
Restore 12
Fast cast 8+1
Inspire 10+1+1
1.Tease
2.Drain Enchant
3.Leech Signet
4.Power Drain/Inspired Hex
5.Weapon of Shadow
6. Weapon of Warding
7.Protective Was Kaolai
8.Flesh of my flesh

Other suggestions such as SV are also good, there's endless possibilities for sabway with necro primary

Normally my necro runs either a monk hero in the third bar or a second copy of the resto healer with BiP and Masochism to keep the badly e-managing henchies powered. More recently I started running a Rit spirit spammer.

Recently I've developed a soft spot for the 2 rit synergy build on the characters that have both razah and xandra unlocked, so saabway will probably be out once my necro gets razah.

I personally recommend a para hero. Paras synergize well with necros in general because of Barbs/MoP. What's better, after the last update, the amount of party support from a para is pretty ridiculous.

Here's my para hero build:

[Soldier's Fury][Fall Back!][They're on Fire!][Blazing Finale][Bladeturn Refrain][Stand Your Ground!][Go for the Eyes!]

phew just checking back in, been pretty busy and added nightfall to my account then ran through the entire campaign just to get xinrae's weapon!

firstly thanks for all the advice guys, the thought of having no hex removal really bothered me, so i've gone with makosi's advice of running a second mm with dwayna variant and two hex removal skills to keep the party up

the combination of dwayna healer, and n/rit healer makes my squishies rather happy

so right now my setup is:
main: 12+1+3 curses, 12+1 soul reaping
eq's: 40/40 curses, survivor/vitae/vigor
n/????
1. defile defences (for those pesky ranger types that like to block)
2. enfeebling blood
3. insidious parasite (good spot heal in a pinch if cast on a physical attacker, and is pretty nice damage counting HM's increased atk speed)
4. mark of pain (i cant avoid using this, it's such a great aoe when mobs are mashed together, especially since everything follows my flagging)
5. spiteful spirit (combo's with MoP)
6. barbs (for spiking single targets with minion spam damage)
7. ???? not sure what to add here, any suggestions?
8. rip enchantment (for those pesky monk bosses or ele's with strong self heal's from AoR).

Livia: n/mo: 12+3+1 death, 9+1 soul reaping, 9 protection
eq's: death 40/40, Survivor/Bloodstained, Vitae/Vigor
Jagged Bones, Animate Shambling Horror, Animate Bone Fiend, Death Nova, Putrid Bile, Protective Spirit, Aegis, Signet of Lost Souls

Master of Whispers: n/rt: 12+1+1 soul reaping, 12 restoration
Eq's: Survivor/Vitae, junk wep cause he always carries kaolai
Xinrae's Weapon, Vengeful Weapon, Mend Body and Soul, Spirit Light, Protective was Kaolai, Life, Foul Feast, Flesh of my Flesh

Olias: n/mo: 12+3+1 death, 9+1 soul reaping, 9 Healing
Eq's: Survivor/Bloodstained, Vitae/Vigor
Discord, Animate Bone Minions, Death Nova, Putrid Bile, Remove Hex, Cure Hex, Dwayna's Sorrow, Signet of Lost Souls

is this setup okay? any advice on obvious flaws or improvements to it?

I'd throw warding over vengeful on the N/Rt, unremovable 50% block goes a long way, more than a 53 heal.

thanks i'll try that out, also i noticed master of whispers was having some energy management woes so i've replaced flesh of my flesh with signet of lost souls to ease it a little, especially ocnsidering warding is 5 energy more than vengeful so it should help out,

Also i've replaced protective spirit on livia with resurrect to make sure party keeps a perm res because of the drop from master of shadows, on the bright side it means she'll be dropping less energy to PS and more to minions
